Notes &

27 or 28 weeks? I’m losing track.
So, maternity clothes. I was so excited (seriously!) about them at the beginning of my first pregnancy. Then I came to realize the really nice stuff is super expensive, Motherhood Maternity is a cruel joke, and you get sick of most of it anyway. So this time around I’m trying not to buy too much I won’t be able to wear later. I’m a big believer in Cost Per Wear; I’ll spend a lot of money if I’m going to get a lot of use out of something; and maternity stuff that fits for five months tops just isn’t worth it. Especially since we’re not sure if/when we’ll have another baby.
Besides these jeans, and a few dresses on super sale, I haven’t purchased any new maternity clothes since I’ve been pregnant. I have picked up a few cardigans that I can just wear unbuttoned for the next few months, and a few pieces of jewelry. We’ll see how the next few months goes, maybe I’ll check in again when I’m getting to the “is it appropriate to leave the house wearing pajamas or a muumuu?” stage.
anthropologie sweater and belt, gap t-shirt, old navy maternity jeans (they claim to be jeggings but fit more like stretch skinny jeans), frye boots.
