after grocery shopping saturday morning, I pulled into a new-ish bakery on a whim, to check it out. they were just pulling out fresh chocolate almond croissants from the oven. piping hot. the stuff of dreams, I tell you. I shared mine with david, we listened to npr, and he fell asleep in the car on the way home. bliss!
