All-night flea market in Wheaton →
i look forward to this every year. walking over in the hot august dark, picking through piles of dusty weirdness. i keep promising myself that some year I’ll actually wait until 3am to go (i have a feeling the vendors are practically giving things away by then), but that probably won’t happen tonight. still, looking forward to renewing my stash of old paper and photos and vintage...

up early, cartoons, playtime, library, farmers market, long nap (time for me to clean and read library books), splashing in the kiddie pool, grocery shopping, trip for ice cream, walk to the playground, grilled sweet corn and tomato and mozzarella bruschetta for dinner, Curious George the movie, bathtime. And now my husband is reading bedtime...

I’ve spent a lot of time lately thinking about the difference between “eccentric” and “crazy.” I consider myself, and most of my close friends, to be on the eccentric side of the personality scale. The scale goes something like this:
